With Lambeth over for another 10 years and summer with us, we feature four new titles which are out this month..

Dave Walker Cartoon Of The Month
The Christian Vision Of God

The first title is by Alister McGrath called Christian Vision Of God. This is the final volume in his wonderful Truth and Christian Imagination series. Gloriously illuminated by a series of fine paintings, The Christian Vision Of God is an ideal introduction to what Christians believe about the Trinity. Poetry, prayer and reflection are interwoven with with commentary on the ideas conveyed by works of art by artists such as Rembrandt, Klimt and Blake. This book works perfectly as a stand alone book or as part of the series and would make a lovely gift.

The second book we feature is called Seasons Of The Son by David Winter. This book is an inspirational tour through the Christian year from a much loved writer. With churches rediscovering the rhythms of the Christian year, this book provides an excellent resource to help shape worship and also for personal reading. It focuses on the seasons and calendar of the church year which will help give a deeper understanding of the relevance of the seasons.

Don't Stop At The Lights We now move on to the new book from the best-selling authors of How Many Christians Does It Take To Change A Lightbulb? Clare Foster and David Shreeve - Don't Stop At The Lights. This easy-to-use guide is structured around the Church's year and gives you the tools you need to lead your church through those next steps. This book aims to resource clergy, personally, professionally and spiritually, as they lead their congregations through the issues of climate change. It will enable churches to take climate change seriously as a core Christian concern and to plan a programme of practical action throughout the year to reduce their carbon footprint.

Finally, a reminder of a best selling title from the Lambeth Conference. Anglican Communion And Homosexuality edited by Phil Groves. This is the official study guide to enable listening and dialogue. This book includes items from all parts of the world, from individuals and groups, to give a wide range of views. Background information on homosexuality, advice on the process of dialogue and case studies are included.
